This show was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I had been working on my art for years and years and one day, 10.01.99, actually, I had a studio opening where I had a lot of my recent video work on show for my friends. A friend I used to work with while on a contract at Microsoft, Julius Brown, brought Daniel Kany, the associate director of William Traver Gallery to the party. Dan loved my work, and told me to contact him. How it was important, and not to blow it off. I knew that it was, without question
The next week, Dan, with quite a bit of nervous apprehension on my part, brought Bill Traver over to my space. I left it the way it had been for my party. Both Dan and I were a bit apprehensive to hear what he thought. After watching, Liquid Shakti, he said he loved it, and thought it was one of the best videos he had seen in a long time.
Nothing happened for two months. I continued my path working on my piece for the Millennium, heading off to Tulum, Mexico for the New Years of a life time to continue onwards
in my gathering of images. On the January 4, 2000, I received an e-mail from Dan expressing the possibility of a show in Febuary. What is documented here is the result. Worth every moment and expense. I am thankful for the opportunity to share my visions.
